Or at the very least let you jump on a flight and have it continue to the destination while you are free to log over to other toons.

I would much prefer if they had mages which just ported people from point to point. The flight path system helps with travelling but they seemed designed to show off the world which gets really old really quick for me. The world is huge and travelling is slow. I started playing in WotLK on a carebear server and everything was great as far as I was concerned. It’ll continue to happen in Mechagon because people will continue to swoop-kill and fight for the rares, even with flying.Īdding: World PvP was basically destined to not happen on Kul Tiras and Zandalar because of how segregated all the Horde and Alliance content was, and the assaults didn’t help much either.I hear this all the time but don't understand why people feel that introducing flying was such a big mistake.

Even with flying, it will continue to happen in Nazjatar because the towns are so close. I also phased out in the middle of fighting someone today, and phased me into a group who was losing the Nazjatar pvp conquest-battle-event-“thing”.īut, World PvP is mostly influenced by world design. I do agree phasing is an issue for WPvP though, the battles in Nazjatar could be way larger if they weren’t divided up into shards. It has that Tarren Mill/Southshore effect on a smaller scale. Nazjatar has the Mezzamere/Newhome stuff, which is easy to get into and always seems to be happening when I phase into war mode no matter what. The guards are a threat, and everyone tries to subvert them by baiting people out of the town and the like, or competing for rares on a small, contained island area. Mechagon has good PvP because it’s somewhat similar to like… Gadgetzan and Tanaris. Nazjatar has been awesome for world PvP, as has Mechagon.
